What ís New At The Building Service Contractors Association Showby Wm R. Griffin
A while back I attended the BSCAI annual convention and trade show in Anaheim, CA. An important part of the annual convention activities is the Trade Show Exhibit Area. This is where manufacturers and suppliers display all types of equipment, chemicals and products that cleaning contractors may find of value in doing the work and operating a business. This yearís exhibit area was well organized and convenient to meeting rooms and presentation areas. Lunch was served in the exhibit area each day and ample time was allowed for attendees to visit all the booths once or twice. After the show I spoke to an acquaintance who also visited the exhibit area. He said, "Same old stuffóI didnít really see anything new." Now, I was at the same show and I found at least 22 new items, so many that I donít even have enough space in this article to cover them all. I find it interesting that we both visited the same show and each saw it differently. I guess what each person gets out of a show, convention or seminar is based on that personís perspective. Here is my "Whatís New At The Show" list. 1.
